Mestarin Kievari is a cozy small family hotel in the heart of Finland's northernmost city, Kemijärvi.
Our hotel is known for its warm service.
Kemijärvi offers wonderful hiking and fishing opportunities in the summer.
In winter, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and skiing are the most popular activities.
The hotel is half an hour's drive from Suomu and Pyhätunturi, two of Lapland's best ski resorts. The nearest airport is in Rovaniemi, which is approx. 80 km away. There is a night train from Helsinki to Kemijärvi almost every day.
The hotel has 21 cozy rooms, some rooms are suitable for families, some have their own sauna.
The hotel has a wi-fi connection, a large parking area, electric car charging stations and heating poles for the winter.
Our hotel is not suitable for people with reduced mobility due to the many stairs.
Our restaurant is famous for its delicious and rich lunch table.
The excellent à la carte menu offers not only local Lappish food but also specialties. Our hotel also has a cozy pub and a night club.
